    In addition to annual leave you are entitled to:
    • Payment for 12 statutory and bank holidays (pro rata where applicable).
    • An increase in annual leave entitlement after 5, 10 and 20 years continuous service.
    • Annual cost of living awarded. Subject to negotiations.
    • Annual incremental pay rise. Progression to top of scale on annual basis.
  • NILGOSC - Unless you opt out of the pension scheme.
    The Association contributes 13% of your salary.
    You will be required to contribute between 5.5% and 7.5% of your salary.
  • PERFORMANCE FEEDBACK - Annual staff appraisal carried out.
  • PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE - Free private medical insurance available to staff.
    Reduced rates available for immediate family. NB In the event of a claim £200 excess to be paid initially by the staff member however, Helm will reimburse the excess paid on receipt of relevant documentation from the provider.
  • PROFESSIONAL FEES - The Association will reimburse the cost of annual membership fees of an approved professional body.
  • SIGHT TESTS - (VDU) Vision Testing offered to computer users every 2 years.
    Eye Testing refunded annually (As in accordance with policy).
  • STAFF CARE - 'CARELINE' A confidential 24-hour, 365 days per year freephone counselling service.
    'Careline' is available to staff at times of personal or work related crisis.
  • LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT - Learning and development opportunities offered.
