Development Opportunities...

Helm Housing is one of the largest Housing Associations in Northern Ireland. We are committed to providing a range of affordable, quality housing to meet the needs of the entire community. We continually seek new opportunities to develop all types of housing for our community. The Associations two dedicated development divisions have a depth of experience which can deliver success. Services We Provide To Others

We also act as Development Agents for various other Housing Associations in Northern Ireland and provide assistance to these Associations in the development of new schemes through the various stages scheme development from site identification through to hand over.


Clerk of Works Services

Helm Housing provides Clerk of Work services for other Housing Associations, for example Flax Housing Association.

Joint Partners

The Supported Housing Development Team provides accommodation for a diverse range of people including children / adults with learning disabilities, people with mental illness, ex-offenders, victims of domestic violence, young single parents, ethnic minorities, single homeless people and homeless families. We have formed a number of successful partnerships with voluntary and statutory organisations to provide affordable accommodation and associated support to meet the needs of these diverse groups of individuals.


Listed Buildings

The Association has developed a number properties which have been listed by the Department for Social Development (DSD) and Heritage Service representing some of the finest examples of late Victorian / Edwardian, Gothic and Georgian style architecture. The Association have ensured a new lease of life for these buildings where their future would have been otherwise uncertain while providing affordable housing and delivering high quality services to our customers.
